Samiha Hossain: Few months ago, a new school was open in William- Hingston Complex the Bangla Academy
Montreal. It is
located in 419 Saint-Roch Street where most
community activities come from. The school is organize
by NBCC, National Bangladeshi-Canadian Council. The main objectif
of this school is to teach young Bangladeshi-Canadian children from Parc-Extension the precious language of bengali. Meanwhile, the kids have the opportunity to
learn about many cultural subjects like arts, science, geography, etc. The
wonderful teacher is Shamshad Ara
Rana and the school is coordinate by Nazia Hossain. Each week, lunch and snacks are served
during the break.
As a student of this school, I really appreciate the
style of teaching and the services that they give. Sometimes it is really hard
to get the students to be silent but, at the end, everybody respects the rule
of silence. I recommend this school to any parents who want their child to be
cultivated.
